1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using the IllumiU admissions hub (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are under 18 years of age, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms.
2. Purpose & Admissions Disclaimer
IllumiU provides organizational tools, deadline tracking, supplemental essay synthesis, and college data benchmarks to assist students and counselors throughout the undergraduate application process.
Admissions Decision Authority Notice
Admissions decisions, financial aid packages, and scholarship awards are determined solely by individual higher-education institutions. IllumiU does not guarantee admission, enrollment, or financial aid outcomes.3. Student Intellectual Property
You retain complete, exclusive intellectual property ownership of all essays, brainstorming ideas, story vault artifacts, and personal writing created on or imported into IllumiU. IllumiU claims no ownership, copyright, or licensing rights over your personal writing.
4. User Account & Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials. You agree not to attempt unauthorized access to another student's account or bypass our single-tenant database security boundaries.
5. Termination & Cancellation
You may discontinue use of the Service at any time and request permanent deletion of your account and data. MindRiot Labs reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate system integrity or security rules.
